Prior Lucas Fénix Tinto 2022 is more than just a wine – it is a celebration of a family history that spans generations. Its origins date back to my great-grandfather, José Francisco Prior, a small farmer from Souselas who dedicated his life to the vineyard, selling his wine in the bohemian taverns of Coimbra.

Over time, the vineyards were scattered and the wine business was lost. However, in the last decade, my father, José Prior Lucas, began to restore the plots that belonged to his grandfather, producing wine to share with family and friends. Inspired by this dedication and love for the land, I decided to continue this tradition, bringing back my great-grandfather's vineyards and bringing back the wine that once marked the region.

Fénix Tinto 2022 is born from this passion and commitment. Keeping production small is not just a question of exclusivity, but of closely monitoring each vineyard, feeling the pulse of nature and designing the profile of each wine from the beginning. It is an artisanal and deeply rewarding process, where each bottle tells a unique story.
