Wine profile
Body
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 2 out of 5 — closer to «silky».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile
Acidity
This wine: 3 out of 5 — right in the middle.
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile

Description
PSOUL by Pinea 2021 is a prestigious red made by Bodegas Pinea in the renowned Ribera del Duero region, Spain. Although it uses the "Crianza" designation in some markets, it's positioned as a high-end author's wine, focused on the pure expression of Tempranillo from high-altitude vineyards.
This deep garnet wine has aromas of blackberry, black cherry and a touch of violet. It offers flavours of raspberry, pomegranate, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and a sprinkling of dried Mediterranean herbs. Velvety tannins and bright acidity carry the persistent finish, where notes of rose petals and orange peel stand out." — Mike DeSimone
Review Highlights:
Profile: Described as a powerfully concentrated wine, but with a floral elegance (violets and roses) that balances its strength.
Structure: The chocolate and coffee reveal luxurious oak ageing, while the orange peel shows the freshness typical of high-altitude vineyards.
Verdict: Rated one of the best wines in the region, with exceptional ageing potential (estimated at more than 30 years).
