Description
Quinta do Monte d'Oiro Tinta Roriz 2022 is a singular single-vintage red made at the prestigious Quinta do Monte d'Oiro, in the Lisboa wine region (Alenquer). From a small north-facing plot, it stands out for expressing the estate's clay-limestone terroir with nobility and freshness.
Nose: Intense and expressive, with an enveloping combination of ripe red and black fruit, especially raspberry and plum. Nuances of nutmeg and toasted orange emerge, harmoniously integrated with the oak, which adds complexity without overshadowing the fruit's identity.
Palate: A structured, balanced red, combining concentration and depth with precise acidity that gives a pleasant freshness. The tannins are firm but elegant and well defined, leading to a long, persistent finish full of character.
