Quinta del Monte Xisto 2018

Quinta do Monte Xisto is located in the Douro Demarcated Region, in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is a family project where the perspectives and technical knowledge of two generations of winemakers come together. Thus, João Nicolau de Almeida e Filhos was born, continuing the family's secular presence in Douro wines.

Seductive as always! Intense ruby ​​color, we bring our nose close to the glass and the aroma is discovered little by little. First, the rockrose and juniper stand out, progressing to a universe of freshness seasoned by aromatic herbs. It then appears alive and full of fruit. In the mouth it attacks with volume, a soft sphere surrounded by soft tannins slides towards a long and fresh finish.
