Description

Quinta do Monte Xisto is in the Douro Demarcated Region, in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is a family project combining the perspectives and technical knowledge of two generations of winemakers. Thus was born João Nicolau de Almeida e Filhos, continuing the family's centuries-old presence in Douro wines.

Seductive as ever! An intense ruby colour; bring your nose to the glass and the aroma reveals itself little by little. First rockrose and juniper stand out, moving on to a world of freshness seasoned with aromatic herbs. It then shows itself lively and full of fruit. On the palate it opens with volume, a soft sphere wrapped in gentle tannins gliding to a long, fresh finish.
