Description
Quinta do Piloto Moscatel de Setúbal Superior is a benchmark fortified wine made in the prestigious Península de Setúbal by the renowned Quinta do Piloto. Made from the traditional Moscatel de Setúbal (or Moscatel Graúdo) grape, this fortified wine represents four generations of the Cardoso family's winemaking heritage.

The Moscatel de Setúbal Superior was aged for six years in old Cognac barrels. Bottled in March 2022 under a long cork, it has 189 grams of residual sugar and 18% alcohol. Structured, concentrated and full of darker flavours, this is a big wine for a young Roxo. The Cognac barrels may also slightly influence the flavours. Overall, it's a young Moscatel with some distinction, still at an affordable price. The price refers to a 500-millilitre bottle.
