Teixuga White 2019

Made from grapes from old vineyards at Quinta da Teixuga, with a predominance of the Encruzado variety, this wine was initially fermented in stainless steel vats, subject to temperature control, and then finished fermenting in French oak barrels, where it aged for 34 months. During the ageing process, bâtonnage was carried out periodically to ensure optimum integration of the wine with the wood. After bottling, this wine was aged for approximately 7 months in the bottle. Given the particular ageing conditions and the characteristics of the Encruzado variety, this is a wine with great ageing potential.

Aging: : 34 months in new and used French oak barrels with periodic battonage. After bottling, it aged for approximately 7 months in the bottle.

Color: Straw yellow

Aroma: Great intensity, revealing aromatic complexity that is due to the particularities aging conditions. The superior integration of aromas from the French oak where it was aged stands out.

Palate: Intense, voluminous attack, revealing a lively but very integrated acidity. The finish is long and memorable.
