Wine profile
Body
This wine: 2 out of 5 — closer to «light».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 2 out of 5 — closer to «silky».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile
Acidity
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «crisp».
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile
Alcohol

Description
Domaine Bohrmann Gevrey-Chambertin "Les Seuvrées" 2021 is a top-of-the-range red from the prestigious Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, it comes from the lieu-dit "Les Seuvrées", south of the village of Gevrey, just below famous Grand Cru sites such as Charmes-Chambertin.
This estate is a family property under the Belgian flag. These young producers started in 2002 and have 12 hectares of vines. Sofie Bohrmann, owner and manager, handles the promotion and sale of the wines. Dimitri Blanc, manager, is responsible for growing the vines, making and ageing the wines. They're young in winemaking, so the only way to prove their credibility is by making quality wines.
A nose of cherries and blackcurrant embellished with spicy notes. The palate shows lovely harmony, combining suppleness, power and density, all supported by silky tannins.
Market Position: Overall, Domaine Bohrmann's Les Seuvrées consistently ranks in the Top 12% of wines worldwide and the Top 19% of competitive Gevrey-Chambertin on Vivino, with a very solid average rating of 4.3 stars across rated vintages.
