Description
El Sequé is a prestigious red wine made by Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi in Alicante, Spain. It's widely recognised for its quality and pure expression of the Monastrell grape.
The Wine AdvocateRP 94+Reviewed by: Luis Gutiérrez
The just-bottled 2020 El Sequé is harmonious, subtle and elegant, clean and precise, with superb balance and freshness. This is a great interpretation of Monastrell, a grape they believe they have come to understand much better in recent years. They're using grapes from different soils in several areas, and think this may have added complexity to the wine.
Even though young and very recently bottled, the wine is harmonious and persistent. It should develop very well in bottle. 50,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in November 2021.
