Wine profile
Body
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Acidity
This wine: 5 out of 5 — closer to «crisp».
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile
Alcohol
This wine: 3 out of 5 — right in the middle (12.5% vol.).

Reviewed by: William Kelley
Disgorged in April 2020 with a dosage of three grams per litre, the 2013 Brut Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru offers aromas of apricot, white flowers, cherries and yellow plums in the glass, framed by a very discreet patina from its ageing in oak barrels. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and vinous, with incisive acidity, good concentration and a delicate mousse, it ends with a long, penetrating finish. Like most of these releases, it's quite expressive despite the recent disgorgement, but I can only imagine it will be rewarded with more time in bottle.
