Espumante Prior Lucas Baga Bubbles Rosé

Prior Lucas Baga Bubbles Rosé is a prestigious Brut Nature sparkling wine from the emblematic Bairrada region of Portugal. Made by producer and winemaker Rui Lucas, it is a single-varietal wine from 100% Baga grown on the limestone soils of Vinha da Vera Cruz, with the aim of preserving the heritage of small local growers.

It shows an elegant pale salmon colour, signalling a fresh, appealing style from the outset. The nose is bursting with fresh red fruit, above all raspberry, complemented by a subtle brioche note that adds complexity.

On the palate the bubbles are fine and well integrated, giving a crisp feel and a medium, dry, refreshing finish. It is very fruity and forthright, with clean, vibrant notes of strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. Its fruity sweetness, while evident, is well balanced, giving it a rounded and highly appealing character.

Versatile and delicious, Prior Lucas Baga Bubbles Rosé is ideal as an aperitif but also shines with Asian cuisine, where its freshness and intense fruit complement exotic, lightly spiced flavours.
