Description
Espumante Kompassus Blanc Bruto is a high-quality sparkling wine from Portugal's prestigious Bairrada region. Created by producer João Póvoa with consultant winemaker Anselmo Mendes, it stands out for the freshness and elegance typical of the region's clay-limestone terroir.
Elegant and delicate, this sparkling wine has a bright citrine colour with golden glints and a fine, persistent bead. The nose shows a fresh, subtly complex expression, with citrus notes wrapped in nuances of nuts, biscuit and toast from ageing.
PalateOn the palate it's fresh, balanced and enveloping, with a crisp mousse and firm acidity giving liveliness and precision. It finishes with good persistence, leaving a fresh, elegant feel.
A very versatile sparkling wine at the table, perfect as an aperitif and particularly suited to Bairrada roast suckling pig, seafood, grilled fish and white meat.
