Description
Laroche Saint-Martin Chablis 2024 is an excellent French white made by the prestigious Domaine Laroche in Burgundy's emblematic Chablis region. This 100% Chardonnay is recognised worldwide for its purity, vibrant freshness and intensely mineral profile.
Jancis Robinson gave 17/20 points to Laroche Saint-Martin Chablis 2024, highlighting the intense nose, lively palate and long, focused finish. The review describes the wine as a vibrant choice, showing the tension typical of Chablis limestone soils.
Laroche Saint-Martin Chablis 2024 was rated by the prestigious Austrian magazine Falstaff with an excellent 92 points out of 100.
In the review by critic Ulrich Sautter, this Chablis shows all the purity and authenticity of its terroir. The nose is precise and expressive, combining notes of green apple, fresh pear and delicate white flowers, wrapped in a marked mineral component evoking chalk and wet stone.
PalateOn the palate it stands out for its elegance and definition, supported by vibrant acidity that gives energy and freshness. Ageing on fine lees adds depth and a subtly creamy texture, enriching the wine without compromising its remarkable precision. The finish is long, pure and refreshing, leaving a persistent saline, mineral impression, a faithful expression of the Kimmeridgian limestone soils that define Chablis.
This score reinforces the 2024 vintage's standing among the best Village-level wines of the region.
