The Ferreirinha estates are probably the most emblematic in the Douro. Of these, Quinta do Vale Meão is extremely symbolic, as it was a project conceived from scratch, since the estate was acquired on virgin land.

On its own merits, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of the most interesting and sought-after wines in Portugal. It deserves to be highlighted by the quality that this wine offers in all the harvests in which it is released. The Quinta also produces a second wine, Meandro do Vale Meão, made from the youngest vines.

Quinta do Vale Meão 10 Years Old benefits from being served slightly chilled, between 12ºC and 14ºC. On the nose it presents a toasted profile of nuts, coffee and chocolate with notes of orange peel. Rich and smooth on the palate, full of ripe fruit flavours that persist into a long and elegant finish.
