The Ferreirinha farms are probably the most emblematic in the Douro. Among these, Quinta do Vale Meão has enormous symbolism, as it was a project created from scratch, as the farm was acquired on virgin land.
On its own merit, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of the most interesting and sought-after wines in Portugal. Deserved highlight for the quality that this wine offers in all the harvests in which it is released. The Quinta also produces a second wine, Meandro do Vale Meão, made from the youngest vines.
Quinta do Vale Meão 10 Years benefits from being served slightly chilled, between 12ºC and 14ºC. On the nose it has a toasted profile of nuts, coffee and chocolate with notes of orange peel. Rich and soft in the mouth, full of ripe fruit flavors that persist in a long and elegant finish.
