Description
Deep violet colour showing the wine's concentration; still very young aromas, with enormous complexity that, though hard to pin down, shows everything of the Douro — ripe dark red fruit, floral elements, cistus, herbs and schist. On the palate it's dense and rich, yet not heavy. Long and complex, with a good, balanced tannic structure giving tension and structure without spoiling the wine's elegance and balance.
