António Augusto Ferreira, producer of Dona Francisca, developed this wine with French winemaker Jean-Hugues Gros, and the result is a unique wine. A long-held passion for the land, the Douro, and wine led him to leave his previous life, centered around beer at Unicer, and settle in Folgosa, on the south bank of the Douro River. On the small farm, where traditional Douro vineyards had grown for decades, with a fantastic location overlooking the river and valley, he decided to listen to his friends and dedicate himself entirely to his wine.

Good aromatic balance, with vibrant fruit, and the barrel's well-integrated character, accentuating the freshness, further enhanced by acidity that lends elegance. A smooth, long finish, highly gastronomic.
