Description

Winemaking: Transported in crates, sorted on a sorting table, destemmed and crushed, pre-fermentation maceration at 32ºC for 24 hours, inoculation followed by fermentation below 24ºC until the sugars were exhausted. 65-day post-fermentation maceration followed by malolactic in barrel.

Ageing: In new French oak barrels for about 12 months. Analysis: Alcohol: 14.5º pH: 3.64 Total Acidity: 5.17 g/dm3 Volatile Acidity: 0.53 g/dm3 Residual Sugar: 2.1 g/dm3.

Tasting note: A deeply coloured, opaque wine with great aromatic intensity, dominated by wild berries, spice, light violet and the floral notes of Touriga Nacional, all in very good-quality fruit. An intense, powerful and at the same time elegant red.
