A 700 ml bottle gives about 17 measures of 4 cl. Once opened, store it upright, tightly closed and away from light and heat: spirits keep well for months but slowly lose aroma once the bottle is half empty.

Description
Lagavulin Distillers Edition starts from the same whisky behind the famous Lagavulin 16 and receives an extra finish in casks that held Pedro Ximénez sherry. It belongs to the Distillers Edition series, which gives each classic distillery a second maturation in wine casks.
The Pedro Ximénez adds layers of sweetness and dark fruit to the peat smoke and maritime character of Islay. The nose has smoke, raisins, fig and iodine. The palate is dense and round, with smoke, sweet dried fruit, malt and spice. The finish is long, smoky and gently sweet.
An after-dinner whisky par excellence. Serve neat with blue cheese, dates, dried figs or dark chocolate. A great choice if you already know Lagavulin 16.
