Description

Wild Turkey Rare Breed is bottled at barrel proof with no reduction at all, combining six, eight and twelve year old bourbons selected by the Russell family in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It is the rawest, most complete way to taste the house style, with spicy rye, caramel and heavily charred barrels.

Matured in new charred American oak and bottled at 58.3%, it shows caramel, orange, tobacco and vanilla on the nose. The palate is rich and dense, with toffee, spicy rye, cinnamon and dark chocolate. The finish is very long, with spice, oak and tobacco.

Bottled at high strength, it rewards patience: taste it neat first and then with a few drops of water to see how the aromas change in the glass. A bottle for collectors and demanding enthusiasts.
