Description
Vinevinu Génese Alvarinho Bruto (often classed as Brut Nature) is a choice sparkling wine made in Portugal. The project is the work and vision of producers Manuel and Luís Cerdeira.
Tasting Note: Vinevinu Génese Alvarinho Bruto Sparkling Wine
Bright citrine with a fine, elegant, persistent bead. On the nose it shows a precise, vibrant aromatic expression, with fresh citrus, delicate white flowers and subtle nuances of toast from bottle ageing.
On the palate it's dry, tense and very lively, reflecting the excellence of the high-altitude vineyards of the Monção e Melgaço sub-region. Firm acidity gives vertical freshness, supported by a marked mineral character that adds depth and elegance. The finish is long, saline and very persistent, leaving a sense of great purity and precision.
Best served between 8 ºC and 10 ºC, it's a versatile sparkling wine that shines as an aperitif but is also excellent with food, perfectly partnering fish, shellfish and more structured dishes.
