Altún San Quiles 2022 from Bodegas Altún in the DO Rioja, is a single-plot wine made using the traditional system with destemmed grapes, or separation of grains and stems, with temperature control and subsequent maceration for 15 days in tank. Altún San Quiles comes from a unique terrain and climatic conditions, which makes this Graciano a very special and friendly wine like all wines from the Altún family. It was harvested in 11 kg boxes, gravity vats, native yeasts and spontaneous malolactic fermentation in 500 L French barrels. Aging: 10 months in 500 L barrels and 4 months in Galileo concrete for later bottling.


Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Cherry color with purple reflections.

Nose: Very expressive, with good intensity. Black fruits, balsamic and spicy notes.
