Soalheiro Terramatter is a wine that is completely different from the other wines in the Soalheiro family. On the one hand, it is a return to our origins and, on the other, it is a projection into the future. Produced with minimal intervention in viticulture and winemaking, Terramatter is the genuine expression of our region. With an intense colour, expressive aroma and complex flavour, this wine reveals a strong personality and a very distinct profile, to which the early harvest and partial malolactic fermentation in chestnut barrels greatly contribute. We recommend that, before serving the wine, it is gently shaken in the bottle in order to homogenise the fine lees and thus achieve a completely different drinking experience!


The ageing on fine lees and its strong acidity make Terramatter a bold wine that demands to be accompanied by food. We recommend enjoying this wine with oily fish, cooked seafood, smoked meat, lamb, turkey or roasted vegetables. It is a wine that pairs very well with dishes that include cream sauce or mushrooms. Its flavour and texture harmonise beautifully with Asian cuisine.
