Montecastro 2019 is fleshy, juicy and elegant, possessing all the virtues of two Castilian reds and at the same time expressing a very personal impression, based on complexity and nobility. 95% Tinto Fino and 5% Merlot. The vineyard is divided into 8 plots and 5 different properties, depending on their altitude and type of terrain, and are located between 860 and 923 meters above sea level. Bodegas Montecastro was founded in 2000 by some friends who became partners to fulfill a dream: plant vineyards in the heart of Ribera del Duero, build a state-of-the-art wine cellar and produce quality wines. The entire cultivated and irrigated area is located in the municipalities of Olmos and Castrillo de Duero.
