Description
Vallegre Rabigato 2022 is a vibrant, expressive white reflecting the unique character of the Baixo Corgo sub-region. From Quinta da Lameira, where 25-year-old vines grow on terraces with a privileged exposure, it stands out for its meticulous winemaking. Slow fermentation in stainless steel and four months "sur les lies" with weekly bâtonnage give it a creamy, enveloping texture. On the nose it shows an exuberant, concentrated aroma dominated by striking citrus notes of lime and lemon, complemented by vegetal ‘nuances’ and fresh herbs. On the palate it combines a structured body with balanced acidity, for an elegant, persistent profile. A sophisticated, refreshing white, ideal for lovers of wines with personality.
