Concept Yesterday Red 2016

This wine comes from an old and forgotten unmarked region, just south of the Douro border. Old vines (80-100 years old), high altitude (700m), granite soils, a mixture of several white and red grape varieties, beautiful east-facing exposure, and especially a group of people who cherish the vineyards as their grandparents did. This small project aims to prevent this place from disappearing, nor its old vines from being replaced by more productive ones.

Earth, forest, mushrooms, wild berries, beautiful texture, silky tannins, lively acidity that surprises and brings a lot of freshness and vibration. Complex, different, serious, a great sense of terroir. Only 900 bottles produced.
