Quinta do Vale Meão 2021

The Ferreirinha estates are probably the most emblematic in the Douro. Among these, Quinta do Vale Meão is extremely symbolic, as it was a project conceived from scratch, since the estate was acquired on virgin land. On its own merit, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of the most interesting and sought-after wines in Portugal. It deserves to be highlighted by the quality that this wine offers in all the harvests in which it is released. The Quinta also produces a second wine, Meandro do Vale Meão, made from the youngest vines.

Deep aroma that varies between delicacy and definition. Cherry, blackberry, some raspberry, delicate floral and spice, all perfectly integrated. Texture in layers of great polish, ripe tannin, freshness present to create harmony and noble austerity.
