Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc & Alvarinho is the result of Soalheiro’s constant search to discover the full potential of the region. After the success with Pinot Noir, we decided to explore which expressions of Sauvignon Blanc could grow in our region. This search resulted in a unique Sauvignon Blanc, different from its expressions in France or New Zealand. The excellent adaptation of the Sauvignon Blanc grape to Minho makes it an interesting combination with the Alvarinho grape, resulting in a blend in which the former stands out more on the nose and the latter contributes to rounding out the taste.


Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc & Alvarinho pairs perfectly with fish, seafood, white meats, as well as Asian and Mediterranean dishes. The unique primary flavours of Sauvignon Blanc with Atlantic influence also make it a great partner for grilled vegetables, such as asparagus or courgette, or for more complex dishes such as vegetarian lasagna.
