• Ex-bourbon: American oak that first aged bourbon (US law requires new casks for bourbon, so many are available second-hand); they tend to give vanilla, coconut and caramel.
A finish is a final period of maturation in a second cask.

A 700 ml bottle gives about 17 measures of 4 cl. Once opened, store it upright, tightly closed and away from light and heat: spirits keep well for months but slowly lose aroma once the bottle is half empty.

Description
Glenmorangie Infinita 18 Years Old is the new name for the eighteen year old expression from the Tain distillery. It ages for fifteen years in bourbon casks and, for the last three, part of it moves into oloroso sherry casks before being married again.
The result is a floral and deep single malt. The nose has flowers, honey, dates and vanilla. The palate is elegant, with ripe fruit, malt, walnuts and soft spice. The finish is long, with floral notes and fine wood.
A safe gift for anyone who loves smooth, sophisticated whisky. Serve neat at room temperature. It pairs with game dishes, nuts, hard cheeses and milk chocolate.
