It is precisely the environment, combined with the tradition and know-how inherited over three generations, that define the essence of its wines: authentic, artisanal and Atlantic.

The Atlantic imparts high salinity to wines made with different indigenous grape varieties from the Rías Baixas, this factor being especially accentuated in wines from the Val do Salnés sub-area.

The humid climate, mild temperatures and the predominantly granite terroir are common and clearly influential factors in the wines of DO Rias Baixas. These conditions allow the vineyard to work at the pace it should, without stress, achieving exceptional expressions of color, aroma and acidity.

At the origins of this winery we find the Fariña family. Like almost all rural families in the region, they dedicated themselves to mussel trays and ran a restaurant, but they also had an arbor that surrounded the family house with old albariño vines, which were produced for their own consumption and for sale in their restaurant. .

Over the years, new vineyard plantations and the opening of another restaurant arrived, and it was at this moment that the need to create a brand, a winery and start selling wine arose. The first Attis was made in the basement of the family home, in small tanks between 1,000 and 2,500 liters, with that special care that is always taken during the first experience.

The brothers Robustiano and Baldomero Fariña, together with their father and with the support of winemaker Jean François Hebrard, form the axis around which ATTIS revolves.
