The nose is intense and inviting. Aromas of wild strawberries, coffee and black cherry with hints of violets and dried leaves. The nose then flows into a rich, elegant and brooding palate, exuding dark fruits, with flavors of blueberry, ripe plum, fresh cherries, hints of clove and tobacco leaf, creating an exceptional complexity. The mid-palate is round, smooth and balanced, with elegant tannins and refreshing but integrated acidity. The wine finishes with notes of allspice and cinnamon, licorice, cedar and potpourri lingering on a vibrant finish.
