Carmelo Rodero 9 Months is a red wine produced by Bodegas Rodero in Ribera del Duero.

The winery has 80 hectares of vineyards spread across the municipalities of Pedrosa de Duero, Boada de Roa, Roa and Mambrilla de Castrejón, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero (Burgos). Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses is made with 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo). The grapes come from vineyards that are between 5 and 20 years old. To prepare Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses, the grapes are destemmed and stripped for fermentation, and maceration is carried out at controlled temperatures. Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel at 20-22°C. After the fermentation process, the wine is aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels, then rested in the bottle for approximately 3 months. Fresh and fruity, this red wine from Bodegas Rodero has a smooth body and ripe tannins. Creamy fruit notes, fresh acidity and some earthy notes. Long and tasty finish.
