Description

Winemaking: The pre-selected grapes, carried only in 20kg boxes, are whole-bunch pressed for a top-quality must to make this Vinho Verde Alvarinho sparkling wine. The must is clarified at 12°C for 48 hours and fermented at 18°C for 12–15 days. It's then bottled for second fermentation (classic method) and aged for 12 months, after which riddling and disgorgement take place.

Tasting characteristics: Fine, persistent bubbles; a nose showing the grape, mineral, with some toast/biscuit and complexity from bottle ageing. Full-bodied, dry (brut nature), with good acidity and a fruity finish where the grape persists.
