Description
Gaja is the house that put Barbaresco on the world wine map. Its Barbaresco is the benchmark red, made solely from Nebbiolo from several family vineyards in the village of Barbaresco, Piedmont, under the Barbaresco DOCG.
The 2019 shows Nebbiolo's elegance: cherry, rose, liquorice and spice, with firm, fine tannins and lively acidity that promise long bottle development.
Pair with truffle risotto, braised meat and game. Serve at 17–18 °C after decanting.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
