Description
Sorì Tildìn is one of Gaja's most famous single vineyards, in Barbaresco, Piedmont. The name joins "sorì", the south-facing slope, with the name of Angelo Gaja's grandmother, Clotilde.
It is Nebbiolo and, since the 2013 vintage, has again been released as Barbaresco DOCG. The 2017 shows dark cherry, rose, spice and liquorice, with firm, polished tannins, great freshness and long ageing potential.
Pair with truffle risotto, braised meat and game. Serve at 17–18 °C after decanting.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
