From a vineyard over 50 years old come the grapes of the Gouveio, Viosinho, Rabigato and Códega do Larinho varieties, which make up this wine. This ferments and ages in new French oak barrels at controlled temperatures.
The Guru is thus a testimony to the maturity of the vine that created him.
