Description
Horácio Simões Tradição Tinto 2022 is a single-variety Castelão red made by the long-established Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões in the prestigious Setúbal Peninsula (Palmela). Its style honours the region's ancestral winemaking methods.
Tasting Profile
Bright violet-red with garnet glints, it has great visual intensity.
On the nose it's expressive and distinctly fruity, with aromas of raspberry and ripe red fruit wrapped in delicate notes of French oak and spice, harmoniously and very elegantly integrated.
On the palate it's round, soft and concentrated, with an enveloping texture and a very well-judged balance of fruit, structure and freshness. The finish is long, persistent and sophisticated, leaving an impression of great harmony.
