Description

João Clara Negra Mole 2022 is an excellent single-varietal red made by Quinta João Clara in Alcantarilha, in the heart of the Algarve.

The grapes, from vineyards on clay soils in Alcantarilha, are carefully picked and fermented at controlled temperatures. The wine has 15 days of cuvaison (skin maceration) and ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, giving a balanced red full of character.

A light red wine, where aromas of redcurrant and morello cherry mix with notes of dried fruit; on the palate it's deep, with persistent, long tannins.

João Clara Negra Mole 2020 is a journey into the flavours and traditions of the Algarve, a wine expressing the splendour and authenticity of Negra Mole in all its fullness. A wine with soul, ideal for lovers of unique wines with a story.
