João Póvoa began producing wines in 1991 with the Quinta de Baixo brand, being the first individual producer of reference in the municipality of Cantanhede.

In 2005, the company Kompassus was founded, whose wine production philosophy is based on family roots and traditions.

Currently, João Póvoa continues to dedicate himself to the production of excellent wines supported by production methods and viticulture practices with minimal intervention.

1300 bottles. Very soft and bright copper color. Creamy, fascinating aroma, with notes of iodine, seafood, dried seaweed, but all very subtle and refined. It has a touch of pain grillé that transports us to the sparkling wine base that could have been . Full in the mouth, with high acidity and a herbaceous trace, lots of age and texture, nerve, full of personality and incredible sophistication. Long finish, very tasty, with an iodized note that reminds us of the Atlantic coast.
