Lacrau Superior Red 2021

Hand-picked. Hand-picked bunches. Destemming followed by crushing. Fermentation in a wine press with foot treading and fermentation in stainless steel vats with post-fermentation maceration. Aged in oak barrels for between 14 and 18 months. Several plots of old vineyards, some of which contain more than 20 different grape varieties. Vines over 50 years old. Wine with good depth and aromatic complexity. Excellent integration of barrel notes. Good structure, firm but silky tannins. Very long. Garnet color with good intensity and depth. Aroma: Complex and deep, reminiscent of ripe red and black fruits enveloped by notes of spices that lend elegance. On the palate, it has soft tannins enveloped by the fruit. Good mouthfeel. Excellent structure. Very long finish.
