Description:

This Ladairo Barrica wine is a reflection of the autochthonous character of DO Monterrei. Made mainly from Mencía with a small percentage of Araúxa (the name by which Tempranillo is known) and Merenzao. Harvested manually at the ideal moment of maturation.

Adega Adegas Ladairo decides to carry out vinification separately according to the grape variety. Make the blend after macerating and fermenting each variety. To finish the process, the Ladairo Barrica 2016 red wine goes into French, American and Hungarian oak barrels where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and rests for 8 months.

Excellent Galician red wine that can be consumed over the next 2 to 3 years as long as it remains in excellent condition.
