Álvaro Palacios is one of Spain's "sacred monsters", creator of the legendary L'Ermita and some of the best Priorat wines. Les Terrasses is a great success, showing what Palacios' talent can create in terms of excellent value for money. It is an extremely tasty wine, with lots of ripe fruit and very powerful on the palate. It is even better when paired with food.

Les Terrasses is a red wine made from the Garnacha and Cariñena varieties with 1% white grapes from the region, produced by the Álvaro Palacios winery under the DOQ Priorat in Gratallops, Catalonia.

Luis Gutiérres: The sample of Les Terrasses 2021 was truly impressive, a blend of 70% Garnacha and 30% Cariñena. It is a lively and vibrant Priorat with lower alcohol, higher acidity and more freshness, pointing to a great vintage in the making. This could well be the best vintage of Terrasses, a wine that Álvaro Palacios defined as a year of concentration and class. The wine is clean and pure, with great precision.
