Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet, with a touch of Aragonez. Very interesting on the nose, with dried herbs, plenty of spice, restrained fruit and a curious malty note. Solid tannins on a peppery palate, with fresh acidity and huge grip. What it lacks in “commercial” profile it more than makes up for in personality.
