James Suckling: Excellent depth and complexity here, starting with the nose, which is more introverted but savoury in character, showing subtle vanilla spice, dried oranges, peppercorns, dark mushrooms and red fruit. Fluid, pleasantly fruity and intense, with fine spice and lovely mid-palate density. Long finish, lasting about a minute. Drink now or hold.
