Mauro Vendimia Selección is a wonderful Wine from the Land of Castile and León made by Bodegas Mauro in Tudela de Duero, in the province of Valladolid. Bodegas Mauro has been producing small productions of great wines since 1978 based on two pillars: terroir identity and aging.

Mauro Vendimia Selección is a monovarietal of the Tempranillo variety. The grapes come from vines aged between 20 and 25 years, cultivated without any type of herbicides, respecting the vineyard and the environment as much as possible. The grapes are harvested manually and transferred to the winery in small 15kg boxes, where a careful selection is made. Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts from the vineyard itself, and then maceration takes place, lasting two or three weeks. Mauro Vendimia Selecciónda aged for 32 months in extra-fine grain French and American oak barrels.

Mauro Vendimia Selección is a complex and elegant wine. Its great concentration makes it a great wine for aging.
