Description
Monte Branco Alicante Bouschet 2021 is a top wine from the Alentejo (Estremoz), made by renowned winemaker Luís Louro at Adega do Monte Branco.
It is a single-variety Alicante Bouschet, the region's queen grape.
Colour & aromaVery deep, almost opaque ruby-garnet, it shows great concentration, volume and depth. The nose has an expressive core of ripe black fruit, especially plum and wild berries, wrapped in notes of spice, cocoa and subtle toasty nuances from very well-integrated oak. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with firm, abundant but high-quality tannins giving solidity and excellent ageing potential. It finishes long, deep and persistent.
