Description

Monte da Raposinha Grande Reserva Chardonnay Branco 2024 is a premium Alentejo wine (Portalegre), known for its elegance and structure. Made by Monte da Raposinha, this single-variety wine reflects the fresh, mineral profile typical of the Montargil area.

The bunches were hand-picked and sorted on the sorting table. After destemming, there was a 6-hour cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation took place slowly in 400 and 500 l French oak barrels, where the wine then aged for about 9 months. Notes of orange peel and ripe citrus, baked apple, a light butteriness and integrated oak. On the palate it has good volume, balanced acidity and a surprisingly fresh finish.
