Description
Le Pergole Torte is Montevertine's most celebrated wine, from Radda in Chianti, and a benchmark for pure Sangiovese in Tuscany. It is classified as Toscana IGT and each vintage carries a different illustrated label.
It is 100% Sangiovese, aged in wood. The 2021 shows cherry, violet, earthy and spicy notes, fine tannins and lively acidity, in a classic, elegant style that rewards time in bottle.
Pair with pasta with ragù, grilled meat and aged cheese. Serve at 16–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
