In 1988, Anselmo Mendes had the innovative vision that the Alvarinho grape variety could produce even more noble and distinctive wines when fermented in oak barrels. More than 25 years of harvests from Muros de Melgaço prove him right.

White wine made from Alvarinho grapes, exclusively produced in Melgaço. The vineyards are on slopes facing south, with high ripeness and high levels of acidity. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

It maintains its usual aromatic elegance, with hints of orange blossom and tangerine peel. In the mouth, with a full body, it maintains its citrus notes, resulting in a rich and fresh finish at the same time, with a light smoky touch adding complexity. Mineral notes emerge in the fresh finish, which lingers.
