Description
Poças Fora da Série Vinha da Roga 2022 is a DOC Douro red (specifically from the Numão sub-region, in the Douro Superior) costing around 20 to 21 euros. Created by the prestigious family house of Poças, this label is part of the experimental "Fora da Série" range, standing out for a modern approach with lighter skin extraction, giving a surprisingly light, fluid wine with a pale colour.
With Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. Very pale in colour, almost onion-skin, with a discreet, delicate nose and lovely raspberry and strawberry fruit. Quite light and balanced, with good fruity freshness, soft and polished, in a very curious profile with “old-fashioned” aromas and flavours.
