Poeira Desalinhados Locus 2018

Poeira Desalinhados Locus 2018 is a Douro red from Portugal, made by renowned winemaker Jorge Moreira at Quinta do Poeira. It's part of the "Desalinhados" range, devoted to experimental, out-of-the-box creations that break the region's traditional rules.

Quinta do Poeira sits in Provesende, on a slope in the Pinhão river valley. Its north-facing exposure is key to the style of wine it aims for: fresh, elegant and reflecting the personality of the source vineyard each year. Sometimes we need to take risks, to “step out of line”, and when that happens at Poeira, irreverent, original wines are born. This wine was born of whole-bunch fermentation in a cement egg, aiming to give a different interpretation of Touriga Nacional.
